Is RIMAI Really Free?
Yes. Every lesson, Dictionary entry, Library source and the Toolkit are free. You pay only for certification, at US$18 a code.
How Long Does the Course Take?
14 days.
How Is the Course Structured?
RIMAI is a 14-day course of 12 modules: 11 Core Course modules, then module 12, where you choose your Major and complete your Capstone on it.
Do I Need to Own Land?
You need land you hold or can use, because the Capstone plan is for real land. Leased, allocated and family land all count; the plan states what your land right proves.
Do I Need to Know Agronomy?
No. RIMAI is a business-owner course. It teaches enough to brief, hire and supervise the agronomist, the vet and the processor, and to see where the money sits, never the how-to. Each Major names the specialists your commodity needs.
Is RIMAI a College?
RIMAI Agribusiness School is a digital learning platform that functions as a school: a product of Cabanga Africa Group, teaching online, assessing against a fixed rubric and certifying graduates on a public register.
Does It Teach Me to Manage People and Work with the Community?
Yes. Module 11, People, Community and Labour, covers recruiting, contracts and pay, labour relations, training the community, inclusion, and how the community benefits from the venture.
Which Countries Does It Cover?
South Africa as the benchmark, and Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia as the local markets.
How Many Majors Can I Take?
There are twenty-one Majors. You choose one for your certification and can read every Major for free.
What Software Do I Need for the Toolkit?
Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice. On a phone, the free Excel or Google Sheets app opens it.
How Old Are the Figures?
Every figure in the data layer carries its data year and source. Most are 2024 to 2026. A figure not yet published is marked TBA.
How Do I Get a Certification Code?
From a RIMAI sales agent, or by request on WhatsApp.
What Happens If My Plan Does Not Pass?
You receive written feedback against each criterion and can resubmit once on the same code.
How Long Is the Certificate Valid?
Two years, because the numbers it rests on change each season. Resubmit on current data to renew.
How Can a Bank Check My Certificate?
On the verification page, by reference code or holder name.
If I Leave a Lesson, Do I Lose My Place?
No. The school remembers the lesson and paragraph you were reading, and the Resume Learning button takes you straight back. Your place is kept on your own device, so it is always where you stopped, not anyone else.
What Does My Certificate Number Unlock?
Your certificate number is recognised on Musika, Mashofe.com, Moeletsi Africa and Chinyama.com. Musika fast-tracks graduates as verified produce suppliers, Mashofe.com flags their loads as coming from a trained operator, Moeletsi Africa gives priority onboarding and Chinyama.com marks them as verified sellers.
Why Does the School Warn Me Before a Link Leaves the Course?
So you do not lose your place. The warning shows where you stopped, the outside site opens in a new tab, and Resume Learning brings you back to the same paragraph.
