How to use it
Give every worker, permanent or seasonal, a short written contract before work starts, and keep a signed copy on file.
South African benchmark
Written particulars of employment are standard practice on South African farms and are among the first documents a social-compliance auditor checks.
Country notes
The same practice applies in all four local markets; contracts protect the owner in any dispute.
